Prime Energy power up in the South Island.

Prime Energy, one of New Zealand’s leading independent electricity suppliers, has opened a new office in Christchurch.

“After strong customer gains around the country, we felt we needed to have someone on the ground in the South – to provide personal service for our clients” says National Manager Neil Brumfit.

Scott Kotoul heads the new South Island branch as South Island Sales Manager – which has been up and running since April 2017.

Based out of Christchurch, Scott Kotoul has been part of the local energy industry for over a decade and brings a wealth of market experience, knowledge and networks – to further boost the Prime Energy customer base.

Prime MD Michael Skates added “We’re a bit different from the bigger suppliers in that we believe in face to face contact whenever we can – rather than just a voice of someone you’ve never met on the end of the phone or an email that gets ignored or misinterpreted. We think that this personal approach allows us to understand our customers needs better so we can provide better service.”

It seems to be working as Prime Energy move South from their base in Central Auckland where they provide energy and service for a wide range of businesses, big, small and medium.

Kotoul will oversee growth throughout the South Island and joins Auckland based Neil Brumfit and Business Development Manager Matt Kerr to complete the Prime Energy Sales trifecta – now countrywide.
