This month Matt Kerr, Business Development Manager sat down with David McCarthy managing operator of multiple Snap Fitness gyms across the Auckland region.

Q:  What is the business you’re in – and how important is power to your everyday business life?

A: Fitness – Very, it is somewhat challenging running a fitness club without power. The place is a sweat box in about 5 minutes without the AC going.

Q:  What is it about Prime vs. the big corporates that you prefer?

A:  Being able to pick up the phone and talk to a human – the same human every time. It helps the account manager is a swell dude, but being able to go directly to the people who make decisions is key.

Q:  You’ve recently re-signed with Prime, why is that?

A:  Sharp rates, sharp service, no fuss – we can get back to the business of keeping people fit rather than dealing with bureaucracy.

Q: Is is reassuring that you know Prime is a locally owned and operated Kiwi business?

A:  Absolutely. We are locally owned and operated too. Business owners need to look out for each other.

Q:  How important are good supplier relationships in your business?

A: The stronger the better. Suppliers are an extension of our business, if they get something wrong, we and our customers are impacted. It’s all about trust.

Q:  How would you rate your experience with Prime so far?

A: A breath of fresh air. 10/10

Q:  Would you recommend Prime to other SME’s like yourself?

A:  Without doubt. As above, sharp rates, sharp service, no fuss.
